Ted Turner and restaurateur George McKerrow, Jr., founder of Longhorn Steakhouse, launched Ted's Montana Grill (TMG) in January 2002, an upscale Montana-style bar and grill specializing in bison. TMG offers comfort food and introduces consumers to the many health benefits of eating bison. The first Ted's Montana Grill opened in Columbus, Ohio, and there are currently more than 50 restaurants in 19 states nationwide.

Ted's Montana Grill Comes Home to Montana Ted's Montana Grill opened the company's first Montana restaurant in Bozeman on June 2, 2008. The restaurant, which marks the company's 57th nationwide, is located in the historic Baxter Hotel in downtown Bozeman.
