Lunch With Ted Turner: Talking CNN, Bison, And Front Street’s Montana Grill

HARTFORD, Conn. — Ted Turner slides into a booth at the new Ted’s Montana Grill in downtown Hartford at lunchtime Thursday, but it isn’t his chain of restaurants that is the first thing he wants to talk about.
It’s a breaking story on Huffington Post: CNN’s news director is quoted as saying the cable news network — founded and later sold by Turner — isn’t covering the global climate change issue because it just doesn’t generate the ratings.
He can’t resist getting a shot in.
