Welcome to Atlanta Business Chronicle’s second annual Who’s Who in Nonprofits section featuring 50 people who are influential in the world of metro Atlanta’s nonprofit organizations.
Atlanta is home to five of the 20 largest U.S. nonprofit organizations, as well as famous philanthropists such as Arthur Blank, Bernie Marcus and Ted Turner. Additionally, there are many local and state not-for-profit organizations working to improve the metro area and the lives of its citizens in health, education, arts and culture and many other ways.
For this list, we relied on Atlanta Business Chronicle 2014-2015 Book of List research, input from community leaders in the nonprofit arena and in-house research. We hope you enjoy learning about these individuals, who work to make metro Atlanta a better place.
