Community Impact
Turner Enterprises (TEI) is dedicated to serving the communities in which we live and work. With a shared commitment to stewardship, TEI and its Chairman Ted Turner feel strongly that we, as human beings, have an unequivocal responsibility to care for our fragile planet, its wildlife, and most of all, each other. TEI aims to further demonstrate its Chairman’s philanthropic values across all Turner properties, ranches and neighboring communities through various environmental, educational and social initiatives, including its Turner Community Youth Development Initiative (TCYDI) and its corporate TEDS (Turner Employees Dedicated to Sustainability) initiative.
“We have a beautiful, fragile planet where all people and all things are interdependent and interconnected. Every action or inaction has an impact – good or bad – upon our surroundings, and anything we do today will have an impact on the lives of future generations to come. The only way we will survive is to join our hands and our hearts.” -Ted Turner
