Throughout his career, Ted Turner has received recognition for his entrepreneurial acumen, sharp business skills, leadership qualities, and his unprecedented philanthropy.
Whether in billboard advertisement, cable television, sports team ownership, sailing, environmental initiatives or philanthropy, Turner’s vision, determination, generosity and forthrightness have consistently given the world reason to take notice.
Turner is chairman of the United Nations Foundation, which promotes a more peaceful, prosperous and just world; co-chairman of the Nuclear Threat Initiative, a charitable organization working to reduce the global threats from nuclear, biological and chemical weapons; chairman of the Turner Foundation, which supports efforts for improving air and water quality, developing a sustainable energy future to protect the earth’s climate, safeguarding environmental health, maintaining wildlife habitat protection, and developing practices and policies to curb population growth rates; and co-founder of Ted’s Montana Grill restaurant chain, which operates 38 locations nationwide.
Over the past several years, Turner has devoted his time and energy toward promoting the use of clean energy sources. While urging others to make the switch from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources, he has already done so in a very large way. Turner has added solar panels on his numerous properties, including the installation of 25 solar canopies in the employee parking lot adjacent to his Atlanta offices.
Turner is also co-chairman of Turner Enterprises, Inc. (TEI), which manages his business interests, land holdings and investments, including the oversight of two million acres in seven states, and approximately 45,000 bison.

Taylor Glover is Co-Chairman for Turner Enterprises (TEI). In this capacity, he has oversight of TEI’s landholdings, financial investments and business interests, including Ted’s Montana Grill. Additionally, Glover works closely with Turner’s philanthropic and charitable organizations, which include the United Nations Foundation, Nuclear Threat Initiative and the Turner Foundation.
Prior to joining TEI, Glover was Senior Vice President of the Private Client Group at Merrill Lynch, where he retired after nearly 30 years.

David Withers is President for TEI. In this capacity, he oversees the company’s financial investments, accounting, tax functions, and risk management, as well as TEI’s Human Resources and Information Technology departments. David also oversees the company’s Ted Turner Reserves hospitality brand.
Withers joined the company in 2003 as Director of Finance. Previously, he worked in the investment banking division of J.P. Morgan.

With more than 25 years in the accounting industry, she joined Turner Enterprises in 2002 as Tax Director and was recently promoted to her current position. Previously, Christine worked for the accounting firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.

Jeremy is Chief Administrative Officer for Turner Enterprises. In this capacity, he oversees Human Resources, Benefits, Payroll and Risk Management, and also supervises operations of TEI’s Eastern properties and its Turner Building headquarters in Atlanta.
Prior to joining Turner Enterprises, Jeremy held various positions in the Insurance industry.

Phillip Evans is Chief Communications Officer for Turner Enterprises, Inc. In this capacity, he oversees development and execution of the company’s PR and communication strategies, leads reputation management and outreach for Turner’s corporate offices and private interests, and collaborates with the company’s foundations and businesses, including the Turner Foundation, United Nations Foundation, Nuclear Threat Initiative, Captain Planet Foundation, Turner Endangered Species Fund, Turner Ranches, Ted Turner Reserves, Turner Renewable Energy and Ted’s Montana Grill. He also provides high-level counsel on global policy, speech and op-ed writing, executive visibility and crisis communications.
Prior to joining Turner Enterprises, Evans managed corporate communications for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.

Debbie Masterson is Vice President for TEI, where she oversees the Office of the Chairman. In this capacity, she is responsible for budget forecasts, evaluation of invitation and public appearance requests and special event projects. She also serves as liaison between the Chairman and the company’s philanthropic organizations, which include the United Nations Foundation, Nuclear Threat Initiative and the Turner Foundation.
Prior to joining TEI in 2003, Masterson served for 19 years at Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. in such roles as Administrative Assistant, Director of Operations and Director of Administration. Fifteen of those years were spent reporting directly to Ted Turner.
Carter Kruse

With nearly 30 years in the ecological and agricultural fields, Dr. Carter Kruse oversees the Turner Institute of Ecoagriculture and its science and conservation programs, as well as the Turner Conservation Trust. He works closely with property managers and scientists to develop and implement research and conservation projects consistent with the Institute’s mission. Dr. Kruse also collaborates with university partners to facilitate graduate and long-term research activity and educational opportunities. He received his PhD in Zoology from the University of Wyoming.

Jeremy Gingerich is Director of Land Operations for Turner Enterprises and the Turner Institute of Ecoagriculture. In this capacity, he serves on the leadership team stewarding 1.9 million acres, over 150 team members, and more than 40,000 bison on 14 ranches in Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Kansas, and South Dakota.
Prior to his current position, Jeremy served in several leadership roles within the Turner organization, including Ranch Manager at Red Rock Ranch, Assistant General Manager at Vermejo Park Ranch, and as Division Manager and Director of Ranch Operations based in the Bozeman, MT administration office.

Jade McBride is President of Ted Turner Reserves. In this capacity, he oversees the development and operation of hospitality businesses on Turner lands. He works to ensure that these ventures are grounded in conservation of the land and species who call it home, and that guests are inspired by the rejuvenating power of nature.
Prior to joining Turner Enterprises, Jade was General Manager at The Ranch at Rock Creek in Montana, the world’s first Forbes five-star guest ranch. He was also part of the opening team at Amangiri in Southern Utah and served as Mayor of the town of Big Water, Utah.
