Purchased by Turner Enterprises in 2015 and formerly known as the Triple U Ranch, Standing Butte Ranch is located in central South Dakota. The property boasts 45,921 acres of natural prairie, the majority of which has been undisturbed for centuries. In addition to bison, many species of wildlife roam undisturbed at Standing Butte. The ranch is home to whitetail and mule deer, prairie dogs, antelope, burrowing owls, wolves, coyotes, badgers, raccoons, skunks, porcupines, hawks, golden eagles, pheasant, sharp-tailed grouse, greater prairie chickens, and a great variety of ducks, geese, and other birds. With 174 man-made stock ponds, the ranch is also home to various species of fish, including bass, pike, sunfish, and perch.
